Creation Indicator for MRP Planning Lists

The result of the planning run can be stored in the form of MRP lists. During the planning run such lists can be created for every material and at the end of the planning run, these lists can then be evaluated according to various aspects. You can decide,

• Whether an MRP list is to be created for each material

• Whether an MRP list is not to be created

• Whether the result is to be stored in the form of an MRP list only if exceptional situations have arisen (for example, termination of the planning run)

Even if you do not store MRP lists, the order proposals created by the system are stored in the data base. You then have to reprocess the results of the planning run by means of the current stock/requirements list instead of from the MRP list. If you use this method, however, you have less options for evaluation of the results (see MRP List).
